With very heavy hearts we are truly sorry to announce that after 13 years we have had to make the incredibly difficult decision to bring YOUtheatre UK to a close.

Colin has set up, run and taught in various youth theatres in the local area for almost 50 years, with Kathryn joining him for the past 16 years. Over the years we have shared laughter, joy and tears with our members. We have felt very privileged to have watched so many young people grow and start their own adventures into the performing arts, or just grow in confidence to choose their own paths. We have had some amazing parent volunteers and we have made some fantastic friends along the way. However, running the youth theatre alongside the main part of our work, our own events and performances has become more and more of a challenge over recent years. Unfortunately it is no longer financially viable for us to continue to run our classes and as a small family-run company we need to focus our energies on other projects which will help us to keep our theatre company running long-term. 

We would like to thank all of our members and families for your support over the years. We have absolutely loved working with you all and seeing our members grow in confidence over the years.  We are very sorry for the upset that we know this news will bring to all of our members; please know that we are very upset to be losing you and many tears are being shed here too. This extremely hard decision has not been taken lightly.
